Volunteering is not just about giving or helping the less fortunate. In many ways, volunteers experience plenty of benefits by just devoting their time and effort in helping the community.
Over at North West Community Development Council, we work closely with the various voluntary welfare organisations, government agencies and grassroots organisations so as to provide volunteering opportunities.

| Some of the areas that you can volunteer in are: |
Community Befriender
To befriend the elderly and needy by providing emotional support and giving a helping hand as and when required. | Website
To assist in creating a volunteer e-newsletter and give suggestions on how to engage residents through our website. |
Green Movement / Awareness
To promote Green Movement / Awareness and help to organise activities such as cleanliness, recycling & environmental programmes. | Community Project
To assist in general registration, ushering, crowd control, etc, at ad-hoc CDC events. |
Healthy Lifestyle
To assist in Healthy Lifestyle and other sporting activities. | Cohesion Magazine
To contribute articles, comics, short stories, etc, to the magazine. Help to source for information / profiles and assist in data collection. |
Arts & Culture
To assist in CDC arts events and programmes such as arts exhibitions, Cultural Focus Points, etc. | Youth Projects
To assist in various CDC Community Projects involving youths. |
